What is surfboard

A surfboard can be defined as a long and narrow board on which you can ride to do the sport of surfing. This board allows you to stand on it to play along with the ocean waves.

What is Longboard

Longboards are the larger surfboards that offer easy riding in the deeper water and bigger wave. They are longer and offer a variety of shapes and actions to do.

Surfboards come with the length from 5-8 feet while longboard comes with the length from 9-12 feet.

Surfboards seems to have 3 fins and pointed nose where longboard are more like to have single fin and rounded nose.

Surfboards allow diving easily but hard to paddle. But with longboard, it is hard to dive but it lets you paddle easily.
